3: Heat the pan
Place a non-stick frying pan or baking sheet over medium heat.
Lightly grease the surface with a few drops of oil or butter if necessary and spread evenly with a paper towel.
4: Pour and shape
Pour small round shapes of batter into the hot pan. I usually use 2 tablespoons per pancake to make it easy to flip.
Use the back of a spoon to gently spread the batter into a circle, if necessary.
5: Fry and flip
Fry the pancakes for about 2-3 minutes on one side. You will see bubbles forming and the edges setting.
Carefully flip and fry for another 2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
6: Serve and enjoy
Serve hot with toppings such as fresh fruit, maple syrup, peanut butter or a dollop of yogurt.
