I found a flash drive in a regular sausage: at first I thought the flash drive had accidentally ended up in the food until I checked its contents.

Before anything else, here are a few important steps:

1. Do NOT open anything further on the flash drive.

Hidden USBs are a common way to spread malicious software.

2. Disconnect your computer from the internet if you opened anything already.

This helps prevent remote access or data exfiltration.

3. Run a full antivirus/malware scan immediately.
