Banana cake with chocolate glaze and vanilla cream
Cooking procedure:
First prepare the cocoa dough: beat the eggs with the icing sugar until foamy, gradually add the oil, mix and sprinkle with flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa. Pour the finished dough onto a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C (fan-forced) for about 20 minutes. Leave to cool.
Spread a thin layer of marmalade on the cooled crust. Peel the bananas, cut them into slices and cover the entire surface of the dough evenly with them.
Meanwhile, prepare the cream: cook a thick pudding of milk, vanilla pudding and sugar. Add the butter, cut into pieces, to the still warm pudding and whisk everything until smooth. Spread the cream on the banana layer and spread it evenly.
Finally, melt the chocolate glaze according to the instructions and pour it over the surface of the dessert. Smooth and leave to set in the refrigerator for at least a few hours, preferably overnight.
Once set, cut into slices and serve. The dessert is also delicious the next day, when the flavors blend perfectly.
