The magic of mixing: Mix all the ingredients for the dough (except the oil, which comes later) in a bowl and knead until a soft, slightly sticky dough. Don’t worry if it’s a little sticky, it’s a sign of the right consistency! When the dough is roughly done, add a tablespoon of oil and knead until the oil is completely absorbed and the dough is smooth and elastic. No long kneading, no waiting! Immediately divide the dough into 6 equal balls.
Rest and transformation: Roll each ball lightly with your palms into a small bun shape and dip it in the prepared mixture of melted butter and oil. Then cover and let it rest for about 20 minutes. During this time, a miracle will happen – the dough will loosen and be ready for the next step.
