Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 160 °C (320 °F) in a static oven.
2. Melt the chocolate
Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bain-marie or in the microwave (using short pulses). Leave to cool.
3. Prepare the mixture
Gently whisk the eggs, sugar and salt in a bowl (just until smooth, but not until light).
Add the sifted flour and mix gently.
4. Stir in the chocolate
Add the melted chocolate/butter mixture and mix gently until smooth and even.
5. Bake
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured (or parchment paper-lined) pan.
Bake for 22 to 25 minutes: the top should be set but the center should still be a little wobbly.
6. Serve
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve plain, with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or fresh fruit.
