Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Spaghetti
Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Savory Beef
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir in heavy cream (if using) and ½ cup of reserved pasta water.
Step 4: Combine Spaghetti & Beef
Add cooked spaghetti and savory beef into the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top and toss again until creamy. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Step 5: Serve & Garnish
Plate the spaghetti, garnish with chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little kick.
