1. Mix the dry ingredients
Whisk the flour, yeast, and salt together in a large bowl until well combined.
2. Add the warm water
Pour the warm water into the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon until a sticky, rough dough forms. Don’t worry if it looks lumpy – that’s normal!
3. Let the dough rise
Cover the bowl with cling film or a clean kitchen towel. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours. The dough should have doubled in size and develop a bubbly surface.
4. Shape the dough
Lightly flour a clean surface and carefully spread the dough onto it. Shape the dough into a round loaf by folding the edges in towards the center. Avoid handling it too much – just shape it into a rough ball.
