Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Puff Pastry:
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smooth it out and slightly enlarge it.
3. Layer the Ham and Cheese:
Lay the ham slices evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1 cm (½ inch) border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top of the ham.
4. Roll the Pastry:
Starting from one side, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Use a little water along the edge to seal the seam.
5. Chill the Roll:
Place the roll in the fridge for 15–20 minutes to firm up for easier slicing.
6. Slice into Pinwheels:
Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into 1–1.5 cm thick rounds. Arrange the pinwheels on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
7. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
8. Cool and Serve:
Allow the pinwheels to cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.
