How to get your glass hob clean again – The 3-ingredient deep cleaner that works like magic

🛠️ What you need

Bicarbonate

Liquid dishwashing detergent (like Dawn)

White vinegar (distilled)

Spray bottle

Soft microfiber cloths (2–3)

Razor scraper (optional, for stubborn stains)

Plastic spatula or credit card (gentle alternative)

🔥 Important: Wait until the stove has cooled completely before cleaning!

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Spray with vinegar

Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar.

Spray liberally over the entire surface of the hob.

2️⃣ Sprinkle with baking powder

Pour a thick, even layer of baking soda over the wet surface.

Cover all stained areas – the more deposits, the more soda.

3️⃣ Add detergent

Squeeze 5–6 drops of dish soap directly over the bicarbonate.

Use your fingers or a cloth to gently spread it out.

4️⃣ Cover and let it act

Dampen a clean microfiber cloth with warm water, wring it out, and place it over the mixture.
