I bake super juicy apple pies at least twice a month.

Preparing the dough:
First, make a mixture of margarine or butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder and flour. Cut the apples into large pieces (e.g. eighths, depending on the size of the apples) and fold them into the mixture. Then pour the entire mixture into a greased cake tin and smooth it out a little (although this is easier said than done).
Baking:
Now bake in a well-preheated oven at 180 °C on the lowest rack for about 1 hour. After 45 minutes, brush generously with butter and sprinkle generously with sugar or a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. (If you want the batter to brown earlier, just cover with baking paper for the rest of the baking time).
Serving:
Amazing, super juicy and goes great with whipped cream. It may seem like there are too many apples for the batter, but don’t worry. The batter will reach the apples and just act as an element to hold them together.
Lovely meal!
