1οΈβ£ Peel and grate the apple, and place it in a bowl.
2οΈβ£ Add the egg, yogurt, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt β mix everything together.
3οΈβ£ Add the flour and baking powder, and mix thoroughly with a spoon β this will create a fairly thick batter.
4οΈβ£ Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan.
5οΈβ£ With wet hands, form rolls or use a spoon to scoop out portions of the batter and fry until golden brown on both sides.
6οΈβ£ Drain on a paper towel and, while still warm, roll in powdered or granulated sugar.
