👩🍳 Preparation:
1️⃣ Peel and grate the apple, and place it in a bowl.
2️⃣ Add the egg, yogurt, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt – mix everything together.
3️⃣ Add the flour and baking powder, and mix thoroughly with a spoon – this will create a fairly thick batter.
4️⃣ Heat the oil in a deep frying pan or saucepan.
5️⃣ With wet hands, form rolls or use a spoon to scoop out portions of the batter and fry until golden brown on both sides.
6️⃣ Drain on a paper towel and, while still warm, roll in powdered or granulated sugar.
