Ingredients
1 container with a dropper (preferably dark glass)
35 ml baby oil (whatever you have at home or olive oil)
6 cloves
Preparation Instructions
First, place the baby oil in a container over low heat, simply heating it without boiling.
The next step is to add the cloves and let them cool to room temperature.
Once cooled, add it to the jar and let it rest for about 10 to 15 days in a cool, dark place.
Finally, once the resting time is over, it’s put to the test and is ready to fight mosquitoes.
You can now apply it in environments where mosquitoes are beginning to invade and drive them away forever!
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Proper preparation: Make sure you use baby oil without fragrances or additives, as some additional ingredients may not be as effective as the basic baby oil. Cloves can be whole or ground, but ground cloves will blend more easily with the oil.
Proportions: It’s not necessary to use a large amount of cloves; a small amount can be enough. About 6 cloves per 50 or 60 ml of baby oil is usually enough, but you can adjust the amount according to your preferences.
Infusion: To enhance the repellent effect of cloves, you can gently heat baby oil with cloves in a saucepan or in the microwave. Heat them over low heat for a few minutes, then let the mixture cool before using.
Apply to exposed areas: Apply the homemade repellent to exposed areas of skin, such as arms and legs. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds.
Reapplication: Unlike commercial repellents, which generally last longer, homemade repellents can lose their effectiveness more quickly. Reapply the remedy every 1 to 2 hours, especially if you sweat or come into contact with water.
Complement with other measures: While the homemade remedy can be helpful, it is recommended to complement it with other mosquito-repellent measures, such as the use of mosquito nets, protective clothing, and avoiding insect-prone areas.
