Neighbor Judy’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened  butter and light brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and
  •  vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the
  1.  flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
  2. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  3. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  4. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Adjust the size of the cookies to your preference.
  5. Bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the tops of the cookies have a light touch of brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes to finish cooking.
  7. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
