Nougat bars with only 3 ingredients

These caramel nougat candies taste nostalgic and reminiscent of Christmases past. And I love them. They are sweet, soft, chewy and so delicious. And really easy to make. Make a batch and share them with friends, give them as gifts and make sure they are on your Christmas treat plate!

Who would have thought that marshmallows + white chocolate chips = chewy and delicious nougat?! And with the festive red and green caramels, this is the perfect Christmas treat.

I love that this treat doesn’t require baking and that it only takes a few minutes to make. All you need to do is melt some butter, mini marshmallows and white chocolate chips and then mix in the chopped caramels. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

CHRISTMAS NOUGAT CANDY RECIPE TIP
The mixture is quite sticky, so my little trick is to lightly grease a small square of baking paper and use it to spread and pat the mixture. Place it in the fridge for a few hours (preferably overnight) to set… it needs to be completely cool before cutting.
