Peach Cobbler Delight

There’s something magical about the smell of a

 peach cobbler baking in the oven. This version is the ultimate comfort dessert: sweet, juicy peaches in a spiced syrup, topped with a golden, cake-like crust. It’s wonderfully easy to make and even better to eat, especially when served warm with a melting scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients:

    • 4 cups sliced fresh or canned peaches (if canned, drain first)

    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

  • For the

 Cobbler Topping:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
