Preparation steps:
1. Prepare the dough
Preheat the oven to 180 Β°C (fan).
Whisk the eggs with the sugar in a large bowl until the mixture turns pale. Add the melted butter, whipped cream and milk, then mix well.
2. Add the dry ingredients
Add the flour, baking powder, almond meal and cinnamon.
Mix until you have a smooth and even batter.
3. Add the apples.
Peel and dice or thinly slice the apples.
Carefully fold them into the batter.
4. Bake.
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured square pan (or lined with baking paper).
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.
