Spritz Cookies – You’ve Never Made Them Like This Before

1. First, cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl. Crumble the marzipan and add it to the butter. Mix well, then add the egg. Next, add the flour, cornstarch, extract, and baking powder, and mix everything into a smooth dough.

2. Now line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Then, transfer the dough to a plastic bottle that has been scrunched open at the bottom (as shown in the photo) and pipe it onto the baking sheets. Depending on the size, the dough will make approximately 40 to 50 cookies.

3. Now bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) with convection for about 10-12 minutes.

The cookies should only be lightly browned. They will be soft right after baking, but will become firm and crumbly as they cool.

Our tip: Decorate the cookies with milk or dark chocolate coating, if desired.
