Step 3: Fry in a frying pan
Heat the pan: Place a non-stick frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with a little butter or oil. Bake the buns: Place the buns seam side down and bake for about 5 minutes per side. They should be golden brown and puffed up.
Let them cool slightly: Remove them from the baking sheet and place them on a wire rack to prevent them from softening underneath.
Tips for successful filled buns
Check the heat: Bake on medium heat so that the buns brown without burning and the filling melts perfectly.
Flour lightly: If the dough sticks to the work surface, sprinkle a little flour.
Pinch the edges tightly: To prevent the filling from coming loose during baking.
