the sea treasure recipe

Ingredients (serves 6 to 8)
Christmas log base:
200g crab meat (fresh or canned, well drained)
150g smoked salmon, cut into small pieces
250g cream cheese (mascarpone or Philadelphia)
3 eggs, separated (yolks and whites)
100ml whipping cream
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp chopped chives (or dill, to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste 6 prawns (peeled)
1 lemon (peel for preparation and wedges for decoration) Step 1: Prepare the log base
Preheat oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
