This is the best cake ever, Polish Custard Cake

For the cream: 1. First, mix the vanilla pudding powder with 250 ml of milk. Bring the remaining 350 ml to a boil.

Then add the vanilla pudding mixture to the boiling milk and stir until it thickens considerably. Add sugar to taste. Then let it cool.

Once the pudding is cool, briefly mix everything with a mixer and then add 200 g of softened butter. Mix until you have a smooth cream.

For the dough:

2. Next, bring the water and butter to a boil. Then, over low heat, vigorously stir in the flour and baking powder. Let it cool. Once cooled, mix in the four eggs one at a time, then beat on high speed for about 2 to 3 minutes until well combined.

3. Now preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Divide the dough into two portions and spread the first portion thinly and evenly onto a baking sheet.

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat with the second portion. Let it cool completely.

Spread the bottom layer with cream and place the top layer on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
