Lo mein with ground beef

Sauce ingredients
⅓ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for extra creaminess)
1 tbsp hoisin sauce or additional soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp brown sugar or honey
¼ cup beef broth or water
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp 1 tsp cornstarch (to thicken sauce)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the noodles
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the noodles until al dente according to package directions.
Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
2️⃣ Brown the ground beef.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and fry for 5–6 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
Drain off excess oil if necessary and place the ground beef on a plate.
3️⃣ Stir-fry the vegetables.
