Mushroom and Ham Puff Pastry: Crispy, Creamy and Irresistible

Preparation:
1. Prepare the filling
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Sauté the onion or shallot until translucent.
Add the mushrooms and sauté XX until the water has evaporated. Season with salt.
Add the ham and sauté for a few minutes.
Add the butter and sprinkle over the flour. Stir until the ingredients are well coated.
Gradually add the hot milk, stirring until the sauce is smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the grated cheese, parsley, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
Allow the filling to cool before assembling.

2. Assemble the puff pastry and bake:
