Do this:
Whisk eggs and sugar:
In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar until a thick, light foam forms (at least 5–7 minutes with a hand mixer, until the volume increases 2–3 times).
Add the flour:
Gradually add the sifted flour to the egg mixture and mix gently with a spatula from the bottom up so that no lumps form and air bubbles are reduced.
Bake:
Sprinkle the greased pan with flour or line it with baking paper.
Pour the dough into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 25-30 minutes (test with a toothpick – if it comes out dry, the cake is ready).
Serve:
After it has cooled, you can sprinkle the cake with icing sugar, decorate with fruit or pour in jam.
